Procter & Gamble Ends Collaboration Pact With Curis
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
May 10, 2007 12:38 p.m.

Curis Inc. (CRIS) said Thursday that Procter & Gamble Inc. (PG) has ended a research-and-license agreement with the company.

Curis, of Cambridge, Mass., said Procter & Gamble ended the pact because it believes one of the compounds Curis was developing didn't "exhibit an acceptable safety profile to warrant further development," according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The consumer-products giant notified Curis on Wednesday that it was ending the agreement, but the termination won't take effect until November. At that time, all licenses granted Procter & Gamble by Curis will terminate.
