That is a direct personal attack! The fact that I gave links in my original post proves that it was not an "article of faith" as you claim. In fact, this claim is nothing more than an attempt to mock my personal religious beliefs, and you know it. Sorry, too late to edit your post like you did last time, so I hope cj dings you for it.

To answer your question, it took an hour to search Intel's website, determine that 3 GHz Xeon quad-core it not a standard product. I also checked the SSpecs (not there), product comparison (not there) and the Core 2 Extreme 2.93 GHz chip. I looked up every retailer selling 2.93 GHz quad-core, and could only order a machine from a minor 3rd tier maker.

I seriously doubt whether Apple has shipped more than 1000 Mac pro's with dual Xeon 3 GHz quads. There are no reviews on the web as of yesterday and it has been out about a month.
