I surprised you see this in such black and white terms. Not even "both viewpoints are 'black'", which might be reasonable, but apparently not accepting that some shades might be darker then others.

The only difference is the proposed solution.

"The proposed solution", is hardly the only difference between the antisemitism of someone who has "a relatively mild and vague, but consistently negative and prejudiced view of Jewish people", and someone who has "a desire to wipe them off the face of the planet". The later implies a much greater degree of hatred or fear.
