Nobody cares about Sharpton and Rosie O'DOnnell. The rightwingers always talk about people like that as if they are representative of democrats, or even blacks or lesbians. In effect, those two are professional loudmouths, and they do NOT speak for democrats or any other group, they are just personalities.
The fact is, democrats are right on the issues now 90% of the time, and the rightweing is wrong 90% of the time and a large majority of Americans agree with that.
Sharpton also has a point. Mitt Romney comes from a very all-white elitist world. Both his blue blood preppy and Mormon backgrounds are lily white. And the way he's pretended to be religious lately is an obvious fli-flop phony pandering to appeal to the rightwing religious nut cases.
As for Rosie, who cares? She's a comedienne and the biggest lou mouth who ever came to Hollywood. So what if she thinks Bush was behind 9-11. WHo knos, maybe he was, or Cheney was, or someone else. Do we have any proof? No. I don't believe it, but I do believe they were derelict in their duty to protect us. They were warned and in effect they let 9-11 happen, then exploited it to death. |
