You're right. They haven't got the power to really do what they want- but they'd like to kill loggers by spiking trees and such; they just don't have the infrastructure to do it. Had they the same political power as the patriots, I think we'd see just as much carnage.

That's a good point. I guess I should have talked more about potential danger than actual danger. I think if the eco terrorists had access to real power they would be just as dangerous.
