Many, I believe that any one visiting another country, that speaks a different tongue, should make every effort to speak thier language.

I used to spend a lot of time in Mexico, (not just the border towns), and was fluent in Spanish. Sadly, me vocabulary of Spanish has been lost over the years. When I spoke Spanish while in Mexico, I was treated as if I was a true friend to them, and they were very good hosts.
