You're right, Mephisto, Blockbusters sucks!!!! In San Francisco we are privileged to have an independent video store, Le Video, owned by a Frenchwoman who does not believe in censorship, and who supports the arts by providing videos from as many of the countries on earth as she can find them.

I do hope you rent "Flirting With Disaster" and "Belizaire the Cajun", as I would be curious about your reactions.

You are lucky your housemate is being patient about all the paperwork, which I assume is lying everywhere. In my house, we have finally agreed upon a couple of decorative baskets where I can accumulate things to my heart's content. My husband is much more tidy than I am. I should have known when we were just starting our romance and I got up from reading to get a glass of water or an apple or something, and found my book closed, filed away on a bookcase shelf when I got back in about two minutes, that there was a disagreement on this issue.

Oh well, live and learn or something!!! There is little more difficult than living with anyone!!!

I did not even know there was a vacation thread at SI. In fact, I just discovered there was a Princess Diana thread, started the night she died. I would have loved to subject them to all that poetry I found which suited her. In any event, I will be looking at the vacation thread for a report on the Yukon.

I heard on the radio that Trevor Rees-Jones now remembers a little more of that last limousine ride, but have not read anything in the newspaper about it. Are you still following the story??
