As for free elections, how would you expect the German population to stay down in the cellars during the intensive bom attacks and cast their vote at the same time??

If the Germans had won the way, no doubt they had celebrated that by getting rid if Hitler and his perverts. Just like the English, who surprisingly - at least to him - got rid of Churchill first time possible after the war.

At least Chaplin agreed with you guys that Hynckel was The Dictator ;)
