Propaganda works. At some point 75% of Americans thought Saddam was responsible in one way or another for 911. I'm sure a good chunk of the population still believes it today....without one ounce of proof and with many declarations to the contrary including from the liar in chief himself. This isn't something to be proud of, it is something to abhor. People have been deluded into thinking that McDonald's sells food instead of highly processed junk and that you can stay healthy taking HRTs, Phen-Phen and eating gobs of pasta with bread on the side. Propaganda works. People believe in ghosts, that Reagan never dyed his hair and that the GOP actually cares about the cloth coat Republican middle class. Propaganda works. More's the pity.
