mike, i was wondering how these funds weight there s&p stocks. if the funds own all 500 stocks equally, then with the 1 for 10 dividend,they would be 9 shares short.thus if they had 100,000 shares of every company they would only get 10,000 shares of YUM from pepsi.
anylists are starting to look at YUM now. some one else is saying 2.08. for 1998 earnings.
