thanks - I like to discuss Foreign Affairs not just from a US perspective, but also other perspectives, as my country of birth and upbringing is India, and I am a US citizen. Its an interesting mix.

I hope we can discuss foreign affairs here, primarily from a US perspective, but other perspectives are welcome as well.

The Iraq War has been beaten to death on many other threads on SI. I would prefer we do not contininue beating a dead horse here.

I would prefer we do not discuss US domestic politics here - there are enuff places on SI to do that... but some of it will happen, because of the elections in 2008, and as a group we can minimize it.

We shall see.
