That may not be entirely true. When you all give your certificates back to your broker to sell this stock, the brokerage will always have to make a determination as to whether it is valid, usually before you can sell.(or you have to make it good later)

I will not alarm the thread by saying there are certificates which may not be valid, but with the resignation of the transfer agent, this becomes somewhat of a possibility. FWIW
