I have been referred for a surgery consult, before I go I would like to do some research on the surgeon. Does anyone know how to check out a doctors credentials, license, or if he was ever sued? I just don't want to pay the consult fee to a surgeon if there were past problems with the doctor. It is for reconstructive jaw surgery and I don't want anyone cutting on my face who botch a past surgery. Thanking you all in advance for your opinions, suggestions and advise.
