This reminds me of an exercise in logic. Have yet to meet a politician who is not an opportunist-----as well as the people who surround the same. Hilary has wanted to be President since she was a little girl. (self admitted) Obama----has he said when this dream occurred to him? Did it begin when he was a child in Indonesia? Did it begin when he went to Punahou------the one preparatory school on Oahu ? California----Columbia University in New York, Harvard---- Chicago. Certainly when he gave the speech at the Chicago Dem Convention he was being groomed to make a run. My presumption is that there were many meetings pre-that convention that discussed the possibility of his running and how to groom him and many afterwards. The next question, I ask is who were Obama's mentors in those early meetings. This I think is very imporant----------the power behind the decision other than his personal desire. One does not decide for President over night. mj
