A lot of Mexican families stay at that resort. They have 7 pools, so you don't have the huge pool issue with crowds of turistas lining every square inch of deck with blaring musico. The grounds are shaded and truly like a private garden.

It's a short bus ride from downtown PVR and is situated between the beach and the Ave. San Francascio Medina Ascencio. Right across the street from the Gigante Supermarket (kind of a Mexican Super WalMart). Right next door to the Gigante is a Corona outlet. <ggg>

We were booked there for two nights and then were going to move to the Marriott at the Marina District. After visiting the Marriott, we decided to extend our stay at Los Tules.

My teenager calls it "an old people's resort," which should give you an idea why I liked it.
