Michelle Obama has the right perspective. Don't worry about the possibility. Take precautions and campaign. If we live in fear, we don't live. The one thing that Obama needs to back away from is giving himself any label. Some would say he is African -American, some would say he is African-Kansan-American or Kansan-African-American, midwestern African American, or mixed race American or black-white American or white-black American. See how ludicruous this becomes-----------when Obama calls himself simply "American" then we will know that he is serious about becoming President of USA. He is aspiring to be the President of ALL AMERICANS---black, white, mixed, yellow, red----bronze, brown, lightly tinged whatever the color or racial background-----by labeling himself he is separating himself. mj
