Lesley Stahl really made the traditional RE agent they interviewed seem like an idiot (she claimed postage and gas price increases amounted to increases to justify the 6% fee- she also said she removed "clutter" in order to sell the house). Chipping Away At Realtors' Six Percent Lesley Stahl Reports How Realtors' Commission Fees Are Under Assault cbsnews.com; This piece said the justice dept is suing NAR over the MLS over essentially noncompetitive practices- I didn't know that. The trial is coming up next year.
