Composite Technology Announces More Orders for ACCC Conductor

ACCC Conductor Order Continues Jiangsu New Far East Rollout in China

IRVINE, Calif., May 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Composite Technology Corporation (CTC) (OTC Bulletin Board: CPTC - News) is pleased to announce a new order for 150 kilometers (93 miles) of ACCC conductor for use on the Chinese electrical grid. The order issued to our subsidiary, CTC Cable Corporation, by Far East Composite Technology Company, a subsidiary of Jiangsu New Far East Cable Corporation (Far East), is valued at approximately $2.0 million. This order represents the latest project awarded under the established Distribution Agreement with Far East for ACCC conductor and accessories. CTC Cable has received over 775 km (482 miles) of new ACCC conductor orders in 2007. Upon installation the installed base of ACCC conductor will rise to over 1450 kilometers (900 miles) worldwide.

Benton Wilcoxon CEO, stated, "We are pleased to see the continuing flow of orders for ACCC conductor for the growing Chinese transmission market. Jiangsu New Far East has done an excellent job educating the power bureaus in China and this order once again demonstrates the growing acceptance of ACCC for high capacity applications." The order is composed of multiple conductor sizes for projects to be installed this summer.
