Neulasta perhaps?...........it stimulates the production of white blood cells that get depleted due to the chemo.

With any cancer, nothing can be ruled out and that's one of the unfortunate parameters of the disease................cancers are all customized as they are our own body cells gone awry. Cancer is, by it's very nature, cells acting in an unusual fashion so it's hard to predict with 100% certainty.

IF they told her that there was no chance of it being bone cancer and it turned out to be metasticised to the bone then she would not have any trust or faith in her Dr. IT's critical that they be honest, but compassionate.

The good news is her Dr's don't think that bone cancer is involved.

The low White Cell count is something that can and does happen to many people.

These are highly toxic drugs she is taking................additional good news is the chemo should be highly toxic to her cancer cells also!

Again, everyone is different.

This scenario has got to be extra hard on someone with her personality. Try helping her to prepare for this scenario again. It might help her look at it more objectively.
