SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Double-Take® Software was named a finalist today in the "Best Support Organization" and" Best Sales Executive" categories in The 2007 American Business Awards. Hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" (New York Post, April 27, 2005), the American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.
More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. Due to its commitment to customer satisfaction, the Double-Take Software Professional Services team was selected as a finalist in the "Best Support Organization" category. Double-Take Software operates several support centers worldwide, with its core center based in Indiana. Its 24x7x365 support is delivered directly via company employees, showing its commitment and total dedication to Double-Take Software's 10,000+ customers. Also named a finalist, in the Best Sales Executive category, was Double-Take Software Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dan Jones. Among many accomplishments, Jones led his sales team and increased revenue in 2006, in the midst of the company going public. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May. Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 700 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be videocast on the Internet and broadcast on radio, and hosted by Larry Wilmore of TV's "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart.
