Crimson > Richard Perle offered a withering assessment of the president's impotence at a meeting of the Hudson Institute in New York, saying American foreign policy is being applied by an out-of-control State Department.

Actually, Perle and his gang have been distancing themselves from Bush for about six months already and blaming him for the debacle their policies caused. Clearly, the neocons are trying to cover their own arses at Bush's expense -- but one could expect nothing different as the rogues turn on one another and on the "hand that fed them". In effect, Perle is saying that the only way Bush can redeem himself is to make war with Iran and compromise the US even more than has already been done. In other words, the best thing that the president of the US can do is destroy his own own country to suit the whim of Israeli/Zionist fanatics.

In the circumstances, Perle's personal attack on Bush is probably the very best thing that could have happened as anyone and everyone (who looks, that is) will be able to see neocon/Zionist honor and integrity for what it is. People should also be able to appraise the futility of Israel's war-without-end policy especially as far as the US is concerned.
