Recently I gave advice to a baby boomer who was trustee,

the beneficiary was his mother; and, the trust contained

several hundred thousand in blue chips/bonds, and

CD's....

I suggested, there was about $100K involved, that this portion

be convered to one oz. gold American Eagles....

The "boomer" immediately replied, "No, we're getting 5.3% on

those CDs...."

I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying, "Inflation is

over 10%..."

But, the boomers will get smarter !!!
