The 17,800 acre Langmuir Property covers more than 22 km of favourable ultramafic flows and sills that could host Kambalda style mineralization. Drilling in 2005 intersected ultramafic flows and sills with interflow sediments that were anomalous in nickel. Anomalous nickel values in the sediments suggest that the flows/sills are mixing with the sediments, absorbing sulfur and forming nickel sulphides. Anomalous nickel in sediments is also used by Inco in the Thompson, Manitoba nickel belt as an indicator for sulphide deposit potential.

Parallel intrusive bodies in the Langmuir area are known to host nickel sulphide mineralization. The western part of the property is adjacent to the southern boundary of Liberty Mines Redstone nickel deposit. The mine was discovered in 1987 and produced 276,700 tonnes grading 2.4% nickel. Liberty has re-opened the mine and is drilling to define additional reserves at depth. The eastern part of the Langmuir ultramafic package is situated approximately 6 kilometers southeast of the McWatters occurrence (477,768 tons @ 0.73% Ni in an upper zone and 165,790 tons @ 1.92% Ni in a lower zone are “historical estimates” and not NI-43-101 compliant).
