Permabull calls?

I do NOT want to get the faithfull all riled up on my first day back- and I will try to not paint all gold bulls with the same brush- but, this guy Mike Swanson is hanging himself out to dry.

I think we can put a fork in Jim Willie to boot. So much for his technical silver break out.

'Live by the chart- die by the chart.'

-I think someone said that before anyway.

With specs so bullish and all in- what did people think was going to happen here? The commercials had lots of powder dry and now they're using it.

Let it come in. I'm waiting with open arms and open wallet.

For what it's worth- I'm adding pretty heavy shorts on China, India and the DOW here. China has like 90,000 people a day opening brokerage accounts and they're hocking their homes and belongings to jump in the market. Now I dont want anyone to take offence to this- but, if you've been to a casino- the Chinese gamble like no others. The Shanghai index is a big roulette wheel right now. It's going to end up like Japan. When exactly? Who knows- but, it's going much lower than it is now. India too.

For the DOW and the US. It's about mood shift. $4 gas dead ahead. People are over their heads in debt. We are going to see the end of the great debt run soon. Retailers sales are collapsing. Look at WalMart- worst qtr ever? Foreclosures are reaching headline making proportions in many places in the US. Transportation and perhaps even owning a car will become a luxury to anyone making under $30k in the USA at $4 gas. Single parents are literally having to choose between food and gas, or paying bills and buying gas. These people can't afford a doubling in gasoline in just a few years. The local TV news had a special about how many people are now putting gas on thier credit card- and NOT paying off the balance on the next billing cycle.

They are FINANCING gasoline!

The DOW is being propped up for George Bush's re election and as Slider has said many times- one last run at privatizing social security and putting it in the hands of the puppeteers like Goldman.
