Obrigado, EKS. I didn't know the connection between the two Brazilian companies. In searching now, I can't find confirmation of my recollection that either VCP or more likely ARA was looking into a joint venture with a construction/processing/engineering firm to build a plant to convert ARA's/VCP's(?) trees into energy (instead of paper). That might create more investor interest in these companies, if such conversion were profitably feasible. ---- I've shares in several Brazilian companies also, including RIO and TAM. Right now, I've got ELP on my watch list and am considering starting a small position. Also looking at TNE. finance.yahoo.com These two are at highs; I don't like stepping up.
