If they indicted every politician that gave out "pork", they would have locked up every senator and congressman that ever served and Robert Byrd would have probably gotten the death penalty. I'm just saying that "pork" associated with political contributions and political backers, while not necessarily illegal, still can be a factor in judging the character of a political candidate. I personally think that candidates should not take contributions from people that have directly or indirectly benefitted from those public funds.
