Absolutely liberals are proven right, and I say that as a centrist-progressive. On Iraq they were absolutely right. On health care, education and the environment they are proven right. They are proven right on ethical issues. They are proven right about the religious "right" and the NRA types. They are proven right on getting along with the rest of the world. If you consider Clinton a liberal, he is clearly proven much more right about issues than GW Bush. That is a no-brainer. Look at the polls. About 70% of the country think we've gone in the wrong direction under Bush-Cheney-DElay. Bush has a 28% approval rating. Even after the sex scandal Clinton left office with a 65% approval rating. And that's not about charisma, that's about issues. CLinton was also much more effective against terrorism than Bush, and that's supposed to be Bush's strong issue. In fact it's his biggest weakness. Expect a landslide victory for democrats in 2008 unless the GOP starts standing up to its own president and divorcing itself from Bushie policies and criminal wrong-doing.
