I'm still preoccupied with other matters, but thought I'd mention these developments... Last week the Anchorage Daily News announced it would cancel the "Veco Times" page funded by now-disgraced Veco president Bill Allen. Today Anchorage lobbyist Bill Bobrick pleaded guilty to conspiracy in the Tom Anderson bribery case. Today KSKA featured local gadfly "Disco Ray" Metcalfe on a radio call-in show. He was basking in the warm toasty glow of success over the corruption indictments, and rubbing his hands with glee at the prospect of Ben Stevens going down. I bet there a lot of really scared politicians out there, wondering if they're next!
