Because frankly speaking if this is really true, I have to radically change my opinion about a couple of things where I could thus be way off the reality.


No, I don't have a link, and yes, its been proven to benefit both groups. So that there is no confusion when I say "slower children benefit".......I don't mean kids who are retarded but rather ones who have an average IQ.

The slower children benefit by getting special tutoring on the subject from their peers; and nothing enhances the understanding of subject better than tutoring someone else in that subject.

One of the dynamics taught to us in my grad. school program is to use pairing to improve the performance of children and to encourage their interest in a subject.
