We maybe getting into a surprise soon, of the wishful thinking of Ron(Tuesday interview by Reuters) doing acquisition of Linux companies having a base in system management(being administrator) or resource management(being administrator). It comes out to be an IT department using Linux operating system.

Then he is also wishful of a company that can be acquired in the user identity management business. Every IT department does their own identity management? You can use a successful IT department and do many IT departments successfully.

IBM was known to buy out IT departments then run them to the ground(Zayre department stores). To run IT departments successfully, the company has to be successful with business management process(supply chain software). This generally means, SAP and accounting software combined for instantaneous profit and loss statement capability.

Novell could be onto something big?
