When looking at Ron Paul, I see a guy committed to certain ideals and not afraid to espouse them regardless of conventional thinking. It's laudable, especially if one agrees with most of the positions (which I do).

But what we saw in the debate during that exchange was Rudy Giuliani showing one of his major qualities: leadership. This is a trait Ron Paul lacks. Rudy's leadership is the reason libertarians are doing pretzel dances around Paul's words this week.

Now if we could just get Rudy to commit to the right 80% of Ron Paul's message, we'd have the ideal candidate.
