I can see a difference in some aspects of the word, but payback is indeed a form of blowback... I'm not looking for payback, but payback may be the blowback of my actions... I can see that difference... but, the real issue here is that Paul has to convince lots of people that he wasn't "blaming" America for 9/11... this is his own blowback for his own inability to make himself clear on his point... I believe I used the word correctly here... the payback AND the blowback of his comments may be not getting votes as a result... GZ™
