Taken from Barrons.. "John E. Fitzgibbon Jr., who edits the IPO Aftermarket for Securities Data Publishing, expects a strong October calendar with a number of attractive deals. Among them: Startec Global Communications, of Bethesda, Md., an international long-distance carrier that markets its services to select U.S. residential communities, plans to offer 1.9 million shares at $9-$11 each via Ferris Baker Watts. " STGC is scheduled for its IPO the week of 10/6/97. DD
