Wow, I haven't heard that kind of talk around here in years! <g> Agree about the mother of all convergences and that trees can't grow to the sky, and I like the pre-Olympic recognition phase idea. As for collecting on puts, that's of course one of the benefits of shorting, you've already got the money in hand ... along those lines, do you know anything about this new 2X the TSX bear fund? finance.yahoo.com I'm assuming they do some sort of outright shorting/hedging, but really don't know ... or have you some better way for shorting the TSX -- it's certainly going to be ripe one of these days.
