I should have either said "As for wholesale and pump prices not moving in sync," or "As for retail and wholesale prices not moving in sync," Retail and pump prices are the same thing. They have not jumped as fast as retail, pump prices have. They should have No particular reason why they should have. You have different sets of buyers and sellers and a non-identical supply and demand situation.
