The 'Torture' topic is going to be a killer for any politician who takes a position on it in the up coming elections. However, it's on the table and no likely to be moved off. I suggest that we, as a country, take a very serious look at this issue. We have one and only one word currently to describe our treatment of prisoners beyond providing them with food and board. Terms like 'Agreessive Interogation' still fall back on the T word when push comes to shove. IMO we have a problem starting with how we define our terms of surrender. It seems to me that we leave the military open to public skepticism when we capture prisoners with an open agenda on how they will be handled. Any thoughts?
