"I'm not sure I understand what you mean." Well, I may have bitten off more than I can chew with that comment, since I don't have any documents on terms of surrender. However, I'll tell you what I meant from my perspective. We may be capturing people that we don't simply consider 'prisoners'. If someone was part of a kidnapping of my daughter, I would battle them and they could only surrender to me by agreeing to completely give up. They would be dead unless they had told me what I need to know in order for me to recover my daughter. If they give up the fight, they could be my 'prisoner' and answer for their crime in the courts.
