I had a very small position that I picked up about three years ago at $3.50. For most of those three years, I was under water (pun intended). I probably held onto my shares because the company was more exciting to follow than Microsoft. Like everyone else, I am a sucker for a story about lost treasure. Most of my stock purchases have an analytical basis; this one did not.

I sold my shares today.

There have been a lot of pump and dump scams in this niche. OMR is an exception. The management is professional, above board, and it has had a talent for raising money as needed. Unfortunately, the company will probably never have a consistent revenue stream and its valuation is excessive. According to Yahoo, the market cap is close to $400 million. That is probably excessive. Eventually the stock will slide back down. When it does, I will pick up some shares and wait for the next find.
