5/18/07 Update
The Nasdaq Biotech Index closed Friday just a tad below the prior week and is now up 3.00% YTD (vs. up 3.31% YTD a week ago). It was a bit better week for the Contest portfolios, with their median finishing the week up 2.36% YTD (vs. up 1.21% YTD a week ago). At week's end, 18 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black with 14 of the 31 beating the NBI.
Biofish is still leader of the pack, with a YTD portfolio gain of 33.2%. Sadly, my own portfolio has been bumped out of the Top Ten. But, hey, I'm still beating the NBI and in the real world I was able to take profits on my early but now collapsed winners. So, don't cry for me biofreaks.
Have a great weekend folks!
