So what's going on at Datek? Are they just to big to handle all their customers needs? Are they trying to rip people off? What's the deal? I've been with them for 6 months, and although I am not a high volume trader, I have had zero problems. Reading a lot of these posts gives me a bit of concern. Especially the one where the guy can't seem to get a check from his account. I realized at the time I transferred that they sort of discouraged human contact, but a lot of what has been written here goes beyond discourage. Have I just been lucky or are these incidences more than isolated problems related to growing pains? I do know I left Ceres after multiple hassels. None of the discount brokers seem to be without problems.
