Without throwing out a bunch of rah rah, ETIM, IMO, is the real deal. They had some financing blunders early on because, IMO, the guy running it was so young he simply made some misjudgments and believed some promises from investment-types and crooks who help take a company public. He believed some "pie-in-the-sky" promises and projections and got taken, IMO, in the VERY BEGINNING. That's the downside and the reason for the 2.7 billion OS. As far as I can see, that is the ONLY bad part.
Since then, he realized his strengths and weaknesses, and he has put a CFO (from FORD and other respectable positions) in place to correct those areas. In his defense, his strengths in marketing, getting deals and alliances signed with organizations like MLB, the Vatican Library, Precious Moments, the AKC, etc. coupled with SOLID pairings in the funeral industry in terms of both dealers and wholesalers is amazing. The very idea of branding in the funeral industry and his seeing it through to this point deserves praise.
Projections are 3-4 million in 2007 -- although I believe there are many things that could happen to blow those out of the water. 2008 and beyond should ramp up exponentially as ETIM moves deeper into the funeral space.
Like all "pinks," ETIM has expressed a desire to move off the pinks and produce a REAL audit. Like all tiny startups, the figures are not the important part for the initial audit, but the ability to actually PRODUCE the real audit is what will say volumes about them. It could come as early as this month. If so, we should see a much higher value as I believe many others are simply waiting for them to deliver on this promise before investing. They have already delivered on many promises in the areas of alliances and networks, so one more show of honesty and strength in the financial area should convince many that this "pink" belongs in the 1.5% or so of all pinks that are real and will eventually make it as a company and make early investors very rich. That is what I am counting on.
There is an active IHUB board where you can get a lot of information if you sift out the meaningless stuff, as on any board:

I hope you see what I and a few others do. Every time a new, real, serious investor takes out several million shares, it just ups our timetable some and makes the typical, trader, pink action a little less likely going forward. Best to you. |
