Well, Shorty and Harris had this little exchange which seems to indicate that the DDT ban was because liberals wanted to contain the population in Africa.

There is also the aspect that because of blind ideology, librals got DDT banned without considering what it would do to Africa.

The fact that DDT is only banned for agricultural use seems to have totally escaped them. And has sent Shorty into extreme nuance mode. Plus, he is spinning like a top.
