it is amnesty, bill is a joke. nothing will be done about enforcement and kennedy knows it. Get bill passed and then change the bill after next presidential election. Look at all those new registered democrat voters.

What i find nuts is the majority of illegals will never put together $5000 to pay fine or what ever they call it. No dramatic change will come about. I can't see people leaving the country and coming back. Who thinks someone will leave their family for a year , and do what, loss of income going back , how does the family live, go on welfare perhaps while he is gone?

I see this as politics to pass a bill, get public off their backs ,put up another chip for next election and then it dies.
