Can you make predictive models for systems that you do not yet understand? What part don't we understand? It is all a matter of degree. We understand most all of the issues to varying degrees. It is nonsense to say you can't model something because you don't understand the k'th component to some idiots satisfaction. Show me this grand list of all the proven inputs please. Uh?? What the heck are you talking about? All the models require certain inputs, and if you want to test one against another, you better make sure you use the same data. You can't claim model X is inaccurate if you feed it 3x the CO2 input of model Y. In 1988 Hansen ran three simulations using the same model, based on differing CO2 input levels as well as allowing for a major volcanic event. It so happens that his middle simulation was close to reality (except for the timing of the volcanic eruption), yet idiots jump all over the fact that he showed a higher CO2 input synarior as well which was "wrong". They stupidly think this means his model was wrong. LOL! Talk about not understanding what models are! Until then...it's all smoke and mirrors...and you know it. See this graph: en.wikipedia.org which shows measured temp vs. two model simulations covering one century. This is where smoke and mirror BS meets reality. Feel free to concoct your own model (or find one on any anti-global warming site) which matches this well, then magically levels off going forward.
