Of the new subscribers, 1.14 million are GSM users and 490000 are CDMA users. By the end of April, China Unicom had 148.51 million users, including 110.3 million GSM users. China Netcom (NYSE: CN; 906.HK) added 247,000 new fixed line subscribers in April, reaching 115 million total users by the end of April. In the month, China Netcom added 352,000 new broadband users for a total of 16.297 million users.
