Duh! That is the kind of talk that the Dumbyassholes were giving at that time. Forgot "just a few dead enders comment by Rumsfeld? What did the Dumbyasshole say in the 2004 campaign? That the training of tens of thousands of Iraqi troops was complete, the implication again being we are almost through.

Then there was the "last throes" comment by FU Cheney. These liars (or idiots, if you would rather shelter them all under the "incompetence" umbrella) have been saying things like that all along.
