It's a conservative conspiracy to keep wages down

I agree.

The Busheviks have angered and alienated much of the Republican voter base with their clownish behavior since 2000. Cracking down on illegal immigration would be an easy way to get the voter base back on board. And they could easily use the false excuse of "border security" and Al Qaeda as a cover story. But they aren't doing it.

The Republican Party stands for many things, but in the end, when they have to choose, the one thing they will go to the matt for, the one thing they will expend precious political capital on - is to keep workers' wages down and business profits up.
