stalkie says: "handling" is a term for owning and being in charge of herding the cats involved in breeding, raising, racing and selling standardbred racehorses.

Thank you. I have heard of the term "handler" as applied to those who work with race horses. I understood that that was different than "owner" though. But then I don't know much about raising or racing horses.

You see Queen, I didn't make all of this stuff up like you likely do.

No, Mr. "I know everything about farming everywhere in the country as well as everything and everyone everywhere", the problem seems to be that you don't know what you're talking about anywhere outside your 160 acres and your horses, and you don't mind displaying your ignorance by calling people liars and making up off-the-wall lies about them when you know nothing about them or the subject under discussion.

You on the other hand seem to be just a figment of YOUR imagination unsure within a few thousand acres of how big a farmer you are but you surely had to be much bigger than I...

Simply untrue, stalkie. The number of acres can and does change from year to year depending on what is leased or not leased. It can run from 3500 to 5000. If you can't handle that, it's your problem.

And this all was started by you way back when you fired something at me like (paraphrasing) "*I* have 160 (or 180, I can't remember) of farmland in the Ohio River country--DO YOU? I responded (paraphrasing) "No, but I farm many times that many acres". It was true then, it's true now. Surely you must have those posts in your files?--interesting that you don't choose to repost them--you aren't so recalcitrant about reposting your own and others' posts when you think they support your bogus arguments. I challenge you to repost those beginning posts in their entireties.

...and please prove that you are anything other than some jerk with a keyboard bashing Brinker's critics...

(1) How would I do that (if I wanted to) without revealing a lot of personal information, which of course would be neither healthy nor intelligent?

(2) I don't need to prove anything to you.

I live and own a farm.

Good for you. I believe you. I "live and own a farm" too.

I also live ON and own a farm.

I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable dirt farmer ever to come down the pike...

On that we agree.
