i am naturally inclined to be very negative on logically-challenged folks who sway with music, mumble gibberish, and claim to act on god's behalf with a supposed general power-of-attorney, but i may be wrong

Hope springs eternal. We indeed shall see. Many Americans and residents of the USA have voted with their feet, some left when the current Prez got elected a second time. Most, that I talk to are angry about the 2 party system and neither one represents the values of the country. So perhaps a change will come when enough people demand it-just as happened in China.:}
