We should all be concerned about people in our midst who believe in the slaughter of innocents, in some case or in any case.

You sure about that? Everyone who supports the US military action abroad supports the slaughter of innocents in some cases. Collateral damage is a fact of war/occupation/ foreign military presence.

And its plenty easy to sit and express objection to the slaughter of innocents from an unattached uninvolved position, but if your entire family were killed over the course of a month by some dude, and then you have the opportunity to kill one of his kids, then your decision not to do so would carry a bit more weight. Eye for an eye revenge is absolutely not as uncommon as some posters here seem to believe.
